From WordPress.com to WordPress.org
-
I recently purchased hosting from GoDaddy.com to migrate my free WordPress.com account to a paid, customized WordPress.org account. I have the WordPress application correctly installed in my GoDaddy hosting connection and have removed my old redirecting domain (www.youngblacknappy.com) from my WordPress settings. However, when I attempt to login to my wp-admin account, it redirects me to my old youngblacknappyll.wordpress.com login and I can only view and edit the old site. What step am I missing to login to my NEW admin and import my old blog info there?

From what I can see, everything is pointing properly to your new, self-hosted site. Could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies to see if that resolves the problem for you?

I deleted all cookies and cleared the cache, but it still redirects to http://www.youngblacknappyllc.wordpress.com/wp-admin when I type http://www.youngblacknappy.com/wp-admin. I just changed to self-hosting and set everything up around 2pm yesterday – could it be that the DNS update hasn’t gone through yet?

Everything seems to be working properly on my end. Could you try logging in from http://youngblacknappy.com/wp-login.php instead?
-
That’s the problem. When I click that link, it automatically redirects to youngblacknappyllc.wordpress.com/wp-admin and won’t let me use the new login/ password I created to log into WordPress.org. Right now, I can only log into the .com site .

My blog is at zero views today due to this and it’s very frustrating. I need to find the solution and very quickly.

http://youngblacknappy.com/ appears to be properly directing to an external site.
It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
