From WordPress.com to WordPress.org
-
When I go to http://www.vincenzolagana.com it says ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. ‘
I had a blog on wordpress.com but now I am on wordpress.org. -
The DNS pointers for that domain are still pointing to WordPress.com.
It looks like you deleted your WordPressdotcom site, so I believe you’ll need Staff assistance. I’ve tagged this thread for their attention.

Also, if your custom domain was used with a different WordPressdotcom site other than vincenzolagana.wordpress.com you should still be able to log in to your domain dashboard and change the DNS pointers to your new webhosting.

Hello again, I don’t believe you have access to the domain dashboard any longer after deleting the related WordPressdotcom site that the domain was mapped to. However you can try following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/
If you cannot do this yourself, please be patient for Staff to reply and assist.

Our records show that you canceled the registration of vincenzolagana.com.
Once that happens, the domain is out of your (and our) control and cannot be transferred to a new registrar. The domain will be held by the current registrar for some amount of time before it is released back into the pool of available domains and there is a chance that it may never become available again. This is why we do not suggest canceling when someone is trying to move to a self-hosted WordPress.org website. Better options are to use these instructions to point the domain to your new webhost:
…or these instructions to transfer your domain to a new registrar:
If you like, I can try and reverse the cancellation. I will let you know if I am successful, it typically takes 12-48 hours.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

It would be great if you could cancel it, thank you! So I can try to move everything again from scratch.
Thank you,
Vincenzo -
It would be great if you could cancel it
Can you clarify for me what you mean here? Are you asking me to reverse the cancellation?
-
-
I will contact the registrar and try to reverse the cancellation. I will let you know when I hear back.
-
Howdy,
Good news! Reversing the cancellation was successful.
You should be able to see the domain as active in your account again. Please let me know if you do not.
