From wordpress.com to wordpress.org? Help!

  Hi there,

  I have a blog here. URL is listed below. I purchased a domain (in-medias-res.me) through Bluehost as well as a hosting plan; however, when I go to log in to in-medias-res.me/wp-admin, I’m instantly directed to wordpress.com.

  I’ve installed WordPress via Bluehost, and I even changed the name servers on WordPress.com. Is my problem the result of the “it may take 24-72 hours for the name server to update” thing?

  Any help you can provide would be excellent. Thanks!

  I should clarify: the admin login takes me to the dashboard of my current wordpress.com blog.

  http://www.in-medias-res.me/ appears to be properly directing to your self-hosted site.

  It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
