Front end doesn’t match back-end

  I haven’t logged into my site for about 3 months when I made an update to the home page. Yesterday when I went in, the front-end matched what I had updated 3 months ago, but the back-end showed me pages from ~2 years ago. The only back-end pages matching the front were those that had never been updated in 2 years. All suggestions welcome!!
