Front end edit issues – page settings – parent page

Hi There
noticed an issue today, when you go to edit a previously created page from the front end, and the front end editor launches, the sidebar widget does not load the
“page settings>parent page” areathis results in the updated page, leaving its hierarchy and moving to the top of the structure
so far experienced this on Windows, mac, Internet explorer and chrome, and safari

I have tried this on other blogs with different themes and am seeing the same issue on various devices and operating systems

Hi there. This is a known problem with the new editor. At this stage the only workaround is to use the classic editor that can be reached via Pages ->All Pages in the WP-Admin dashboard to edit your pages. They’re working on fixing this issue, but the last I heard there wasn’t an indication when it will be fixed. I know they’re currently beta-testing a new version of the new editor, so perhaps it will be fixed there. Let me know if you have more questions about this.
