Front facing file upload?

  I’m looking into creating a basic wordpress.com site, and I need the ability to have visitors upload a file and have it sent somewhere. Does wordpress offer this ability? And if it does, is it available on a wordpress.com hosted site?

  Not WordPress.com. You could presumably do it on WordPress.org, but it’s a huge security risk.
