  I published my post but it does not appear front page first

  This happened to a post of mine the other day. Not sure if it’s some problem that’s just cropped up, but first check your dashboard. What is the date and time it shows as having been published? For some reason, the date mine showed was a few weeks previously – way back when I originally started the draft. I went in and edited the publication date and time to about an hour before the current time, and it showed up on the front page. Try it and see if that works.
