Front page

  Hi, I’ve created a new static page (‘Welcome’) that I defined as my front page. My problem is that I now see the old Front page (‘Home’) and my new one in the menus on top (I’m using the Bueno theme). I would like to delete the Home page but I can’t see it in my pages list in the dashboard.

  The ‘Home’ page is actually hard-coded into your theme and you won’t be able to delete it.

  What you can do is use our custom menus feature to set up your own navigation menu. With a custom menu, you choose only the pages you want to be shown, and you don’t have to have the ‘Home’ page on the menu.

  Thanks for your help. I think the problem was I had checked the “Show a link to your home page in the nav menu” box in Appearance/Theme Options.
