  How do I make it so that only excerpts of the posts are showing instead of the whole post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can create excerpts for your posts using the “More” tag. For more information on how to do so please follow the directions in the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/

  Hello there, if by chance you also want excerpts in the email notifications of new posts sent out to your subscribers, you can change that setting in https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/bigdreamsandcityscenes.wordpress.com Scroll down a bit until you see Feed Settings and then flip the toggle next to

  Limit feed to excerpt only
  Enable this to include only an excerpt of your content. Users will need to visit your site to view the full content.

  and save your changes if it doesn’t automatically.
