Front page
-
When I post to one of my pages, the post does not automatically show up on my front page. Could I have changed the default settings somehow? All I can find is how to make a static page.

It looks like you’ve definite chosen a static front page at Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.

I’m not such an expert on computers but…
I have my settings as Front Page displays latest posts. But if I add a post to one of my other pages, it doesn’t show up on the Front Page.
How do I determine the Front Page?sd

If you go to your Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading, you can see which page has been selected as your Front Page and which page has been select as your Posts Page.
Right now, it looks like you’ve selected “The Latest News…” as your posts page. If you’d like to change this, you can do so by selecting a different page from the drop-down menu next to “Posts page” on your Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading page.

How can I make the default “Home” page either my posts page or make it go away as it’s not in the drop down list?
I guess what I think Iam trying to do is get my “Latest News” page to become my Front Page with posts. Is this doable?sd

Instead of doing that, I recommend setting your Front Page at Settings -> Reading back to “Your latest posts,” then create your own menu via Appearance -> Menus.
