Front page displays option not showing in settings
-
Hi – I want to change my front page from a static page to show the latest posts, but the option is not showing on my dashboard. It has the heading ‘Reading Settings’, but directly below this comes ‘Blog pages show at most … etc’ – the front page options are not there. Could someone help me? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want your latest posts to show on the main page, click the checkbox next to “My latest posts” at settings > reading.

Hello there thesacredpath – thanks for responding. I cannot find ‘my latest posts’ in Readings Settings: http://dbennison.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php (I don’t know if you can access this URL). If you can’t, thisis all I have showing:

Are you talking about this blog, http://dbennison.wordpress.com/ ?
Are you signed in as an Administrator on that blog?
Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

Yes – that blog. Yes – I’m the only administrator. I hate to say this – but I don’t know how to clear my browser cache and cookies. You can just ignore me now – I don’t mind. I know how irritating non-technical people like me are. But thanks for your help.x

Thank you very much for sticking with me thesacredpath – I do appreciate it. I followed the instructions in the link above and deleted everything, then turned off my computer and restarted everything – but – no joy. Directly below the heading ”Reading Settings”, I still have ‘Blog pages show at most … etc’ – not the front page options. Many thanks.
