front page for Edin theme

  I have selected that my Edin themed site, http://www.charlestonmenschorus.org, have a static page for the front. With this theme, under Theme Options, I can pick three pages to be featured on front page. Is there any way to make one of those three the blog? If not, what other way to get the blog showing on the front page – though I don’t want that to be the main thing. Maybe

  Hi there,

  Since you have a static page set as your front page, you can set up a different page to be your blog page. To do that, first create a new page and give it the title you want for your blog page (for example, “Blog”).

  Then, you can go to Settings > Reading in your site’s dashboard. In the Front page displays section, next to “Posts page,” choose that page you created for your blog.

  You can then choose that blog page to be one of the three pages featured on your site’s front page.

  An alternative, if you’d like to go a different route, is to display your blog’s most recent posts on the front page using a Recent Posts Widget. You can add that widget to one of the front page widget areas, if you’d like.
