Front Page Image
-
I am using the theme “Forefront” for my new blog and I do not understand how to make the front page look like the ones in the site examples. I want to have a single full frame image covering the page with copy over it. I looked at the instructional content – and frankly its a bit wonky for me to follow. Can I get some help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
To get your site looking like the Forefront demo site, you’ll need to follow this section of the instructions on the Forefront theme page:
1. Create or edit a page, and assign it to the Front Page template from the Page Attributes module.
2. Go to Settings → Reading and set “Front page displays” to “A static page”.
3. Select the page you just assigned the Front Page template to as “Front page” and then choose another page as “Posts page” to serve your blog posts.Don’t forget to set a Featured Image which will be big enough on that page which will serve as the image upon which your page’s text will be super-imposed.
That’s all you’ll need to do!

Thank you – I am almost there. For some reason the entire page now exists in some kind of frame – surrounded by a border and white field. Not the exact result I was looking for.
Take a look: http://evolvagent.wordpress.com/ – plus the page has all of these social widgets all over it.
What I am looking to achieve is this: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/forefront/support/.
Can you help? Thanks!!!! -
The image which you’re using is only 640 × 425 pixels. If you’d like a background which fills the page like the Forefront demo site does, you’ll need a considerably larger image. The image that they used on their front page, as an example, was 1674 × 1052 pixels.
If you can find the same image in larger dimensions, you should be able to use that. If not, you might need to use a different image.
