Front page is displaying excerpts and static pages as recent posts

  I want posts to display in full. I do not want to have excerpts from recent posts on front page.
  I do not know code. Suddenly the front page is showing all the static posts as if they were pages

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no such thing as a static post. Your blog looks perfectly normal to me. Please give us a link to one specific post which is not displaying correctly and tell us exactly what is odd ab out the way it is displaying.

  Hello, thank you for replying so quickly. I want the posts to display in full not as excerpts and definitely don’t want Words with Wings, teaching and mentoring and all those other items appearing on the front page (On Writing). They are meant to be static pages. Last time I went onto the site they were only under their correct headings not listed as recent posts. Here’s the example

  On Writing

  In my custom menu the headings About, Words with Wings, Form an Orderly Queue and Books all seem to be ‘Custom’, with their sub menus About this Site, About Me etc. appearing as categories and that seems to work except that they are all also appearing under ‘On Writing’ which they didn’t before.

  On Writing in the menu is a Page as is Get in Touch.

  I actually don’t want anything under On Writing except the blogs that go under that category but that’s another matter and may not be poss with .com

  I find WordPress utterly confusing so will be grateful for any help you can offer.
