Front Page is not showing information

I want the Front Static Page to show the information of the ‘Home Page’ but I don’t seem to be able to get it to. I want the Front Static Page and Home Page to be the same. Iam setting up website not a blog. What am I doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By default, WordPress shows your posts in a chronological order on the front/home page.
Are you trying to set the home page to display only a static page, for example the About page? Your home/front page will not be a ‘blog’ now, rather, a website and will not show posts.
If you want to set a specific page as your home page, you can do so by going to Dashboard > Customize > Static Front Page.
- Under Front page, select the page you want to display on your home page, for example your About page.
- Under Posts page, select the page which should list all your recent posts. (if you want your posts to show up on some page, else leave it.)

I think that I did set a Static Front Page. However, I want to change it and cannot find the “Static Front Page” option in Customize anymore. Any suggestions how I can change which page is used for my Static Front Page?

What theme are you using?
It should be on the left bar when you open the Customize page.

It was there when I initially started the site, but it is no longer there. That is the problem – I cannot change my Static Front Page because the option no longer exists.
Theme is Gateway. -
Also I think that I may have inadvertently deleted the page that was selected as my Static Front Page

That’s quite strange, Static Front Page option is not appearing in the Customizer?
Deleting the page selected as static page shouldn’t make the option disappear. It’s showing up fine at my end.
Try it in a different browser or clear your cache/cookies, does it show up now?

Hi eyedr123 ,
All your pages are currently set to private. In order to use a static front page you must have at least one public page.
If you would like your site to be private while you’re working on it use the site wide privacy setting not the individual, per-page setting. Which you have already done.
