Front page looks like blog how do i change that to normal introduction page?

  Hi
  I dont want my front page to look like bunch of blogs (or posts) i want my front page to look like a front page of a normal site without blogs/post just like introduction to website. But as of right now it looks like a blog and rest of the pages that i have added looks like intro pages so what I want to do is make my front page look like Introduction where I just write about the information what I have to offer and stuff. Any idea on how to do that?
