Front page looks wrong to me, fine to others

Was trying out some other themes, but then came back to one I had been using. I operate it as a blog with pages for about and other information. Decided to add a page for links. When that was done, I went to the blog and now I have to scroll down quite a bit to see any posts and they are out of order. But when my husband looks on his computer, it looks perfectly normal. This is making me crazy. Any ideas of what I did wrong…and how to make it right? Thank you.

Can you please take a screen shot of what you see and upload it to your site’s media library at My Site ->Media? I’ll be able to view it there.
Please also check whether clearing your browser cache makes any difference:

I cleared the cache made no difference. When I am signed in the screen is blank below the headings and you have to scroll down so the screen shot shows nothing below the main image and headings. When I sign out and look at blog from the “outside” it looks just fine.

Is it completely blank or is there a pulsing circle on the screen? That would indicate a loading issue.
Please clear your browser cookies, and also unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to reset the connection.
I see from your screen shot you’re using Chrome. Does this happen if you log in using an incognito window? And does it happen in Edge? How about if you use a different internet connection, for example, tethering to your phone?

Circle at the top. In Edge, loads properly. In
Chrome, pulsing circle for a sec also sometimes an upside down V with line at the top. I don’t know what an incognito window is.
It looks fine to the outside, just wrong to me. -
Have you tried deleting the browser cookies as I suggested?

In the taskbar in Windows, right-click on the Chrome icon and click “New incognito window”
That loads Chrome without any saved cache, history or cookies, and also with all browser add-ons disabled.

Well that seems to have done the trick. I didn’t realize that I had only deleted a week’s worth of cookies. I got rid of everything and it seems to have done the trick. Thanks so much for your help and giving me a new piece of information…how to go incognito!
