Front Page Template

    when i go to set my pages as a Front Page template under page template, it doesnt change it to a front page template it just says as the default one where you still see like recent post and comments and all that stuff, it should change over to a front page template but it doesnt, iv got the sydney theme and iv seen other people make it change to a front page template so im thinking its like a glitch or something

    It’s not enough to set a page template to the Front Page Template. If you want that page to appear on the front page instead of your recent posts (the blog page), you’ve got to make your chosen page the static front page as well. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page for directions.
