front page to show more posts when scrolling

I’ve noticed on some blogs that you can see several posts, and as you scroll down you just see more. However, on my blog, I have to explicitly nominate how many summaries to show, and if you want to see more you have to hit a “Show More” link? I’d prefer that this just happens: you see more posts as you scroll down. How do I get this behaviour?

Also, I do notice that it works this way when I view the site on my iPhone.

    Thanks

    Bill

  • Hi there,

It sounds like you’re referring to Infinite Scroll. Ordinarily, to enable that, you’d visit your Reading Settings (Dashboard > Settings > Reading), but when I go to your dashboard, I see that infinite scroll is disabled for your theme because you have a footer widget. You can make the footer widget items into left-side widget items and then revisit the Reading Settings to enable infinite scroll.

    I hope that helps!

Thanks!, I had disabled the footer, but had missed the “infinite scroll” part…
