Front Page vs. Home Page
-
What is the difference between a front page and a home page? Why do I even need a home page if I’m creating a blog? On the ‘Pages’ menu in the editor, why does the ‘Home’ category have an Em-dash by it? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By default the URL of the site like http://parentpopsite.wordpress.com/ is the Front page or Home page.

Volunteers cannot view private blogs and we Volunteers do not request access to them. Therefore, I do not know which theme you have and what you have done. Staff can view private blog content and if you need their help type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread for their assistance. Then be patient while waiting for a response and subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

NOTE: Every theme has a detailed theme description page with set up instructions like this one https://wordpress.com/themes/twentysixteen/ and a live demo site like this one https://twentysixteendemo.wordpress.com/

Hi there,
A front page and a home page is the same thing. It’s the page people see if they click your site’s URL instead of the URL for a specific post/page.
Depending on the option and theme you chose when creating your site, the front page shows either your latest posts or a static page. You can change this setting in the Customizer ->Static Front Page
Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page)
Your site is currently set to display latest posts on the front page.
