Front Page vs Other Pages … layout?

  Hello,

  I am wondering if I can replace the “widget” area (Schedule, twitter, email, calendar on the left hand side of my site) on all pages other than the front page? For example, I would maybe like to replace them with an image, or center the posts and have a large border instead of having my base information on the right side of every page. Or better yet, if I could just leave a twitter or facebook widget, but remove all other widgets or relocate them. Is there a venue to adjust this differently for each individual page?
