Front Page vs Pageviews?
-
I can’t imagine I’m the first person to ask, but I have yet to find the answer in the forums or FAQs. At least not in a way that I grok.
How can I tell if visitors are reading the posts downpage on the front page? Do these views get added to the stats (I don’t know how – by scrolling and revealing them onscreen perhaps?) Or do I simply get 1 pageview for someone who clicks on my blog and reads every post by scrolling down?
If that’s the case, are there any helpful plugins I can use? I’m interested in knowing what people have read. Not what they clicked on.
If the answer is elsewhere, please link me to it.

We need a link to your blog, starting with http, in order to give you an appropriate answer.

Thanks. The short answer is no, and you can’t use plugins either on a WP.com blog. We do not have stats that tell you what people read when they scanned the front page, nor do I think there is any available, although some packages will tell you the time people spent on each page. You could check sitemeter or statcounter’s HTML only options as they may provide this service
