Front Page Widget
-
I created a new page today using the Sela theme.. I read about the page so it said to create three TEXT front page widgets… which I think I have managed to do…
However, I would like these front page widgets to each have a picture and have a link to connect to a new page… just like the example web site has…
I can’t figure out how to do this.. Would you be able to help me? Here is the example sela demo page to reference what I am talking about!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
So in the widget area, the theme author added the images within the Text Widget with HTML.
In order to add an image, get the direct image link (make sure it has .png, .jpg or .gif at the end of it) and insert it in this code:
<img src="ADD IMAGE LINK HERE" >Put that in your text widget and you should be set.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Thank you! I will try that. But I also have another question- How do I like the widget text to another page.. or say link the widget text to my blog if I wanted to do that.. or link it to a brand new page?
See on the author page it says read more… and then brings you to a new page..
thanks!

So do you want to link the actual image?
You can do that by adding this:
<a href="ADD LINK HERE"> <img src="ADD IMAGE LINK HERE"> </a>Then you should be set!

Hmmmm no I don’t want to link the picture…
I want to link the text to a new page… Like if you look at the authors
Page you click on the “read more” in the text of the widget and it brings you to a new page ..Let me know if you can help!!
