Front Page Widgets not showing up

When I try to do the three widget set up like in the demo, it only gives me the option of doing footer widgets. It says at the top of the widgets tab in customize that there are 3 more widgets avaliable for the theme that are not shown but I don’t know how to make them show. I want the widgets to be on the front page only. I tried using the footers thinking it would look the same, and it does on the front page, but then it is like that on every page which is not what I want. Does anyone know how I can make the Front Page Widget options appear? Thanks!

Hi there – you’ll need to select the Front Page template instead of the Full-Width template. That’s the only template in which you can add the front-page widget areas.
