  I have set up my webpage, but when you log onto it, it says page not found. I have tried writing a new post using the write tab and calling it welcome but once updated and it all disappeared.

  Hi Sarah,

  Your homepage is the Welcome page, as you can see here: https://sarahjordancouk.wordpress.com/. The problem is that the menu item labeled “Welcome” is linked to the URL https://sarahjordancouk.wordpress.com/home, a page that isn’t published. That’s why when you click on it, you get the “Oops! That page can’t be found” message. The easiest way to fix that would be to delete that menu item and add the menu item again. See the following sections of the Custom Menus support page:

  • Delete Menu Items
  • Add Menu Items

  That post hasn’t disappeared. It’s the most recent post on your blog page, which you may reach by clicking the “Blog” item in the menu.
