Frontpage pictures WITHOUT thumbnails?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi!

Just made a second wordpress blog and unlike my existing blog which uses an older version of wordpress, this new version keeps messing with my pictures?! For some reason I cannot add a picture without having the proportions messed up. All pictures come out as square boxed and you have to click on them in order to see the picture in its correct proportions (600x400pix) in a separate window.

On my old blog WP just kept the pictures within the standard width of the main column even if they exceeded the standard size. Also, pictures weren’t clickable.

So what do I have to change in order to run my new blog in the same way as my old blog. I don’t need (or want!) thumbnails, extra windows etc. I just want WP to display the picture in its correct proportions from the get go.

@moebiuszar you don’t seem to have a blog here at WordPress.Com, what’s your blog address?

As the Support Bot suggests, you’ll need to head over to the http://wordpress.org/support/ forums for assistance with self-hosted blogs.
