  I was following a youtube on making a website. it came to general setting and he said put www. after // which I did in wordpress address url and site address url. clicked on save changes and when I tried to go to my site from the dashboard it said hmmm cant reach this page. I removed the www. but it is still saying the same. how do I put it right please

  Hi! Can you confirm that’s with happytails824956434.wordpress.com ? If so, the tutorial you’re looking at may be designed for a different type of WordPress. I’d recommend using this instead:
  https://wordpress.com/support/start/

  Basically add some posts here:
  https://wordpress.com/post

  Then add a page or two:
  https://wordpress.com/page
