Frustrated

I’ve been trying to set up a site for my blog for a couple of days without success. I have set up some tags and now I just want to replace the graphic banner with my own then, post my piece. I’ve asked this before in different sites but no response.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you working on https://peaceologist.wordpress.com/ which is using a very old theme and hasn’t been updated for 9 years or some other site?

I’ve been taken back to that but don’t want to be. I need to clear all the old blogs out but even that’s seems difficult. -

-I removed the old post, 2011, yesterday but I just went to the site and it’s still there today.
-Can’t find my recent post at all toay.
-No matter what I do I can’t get rid of the header and replace it with my own.Just let it go. I’ll look for some other way to get this done.
