Frustrated and need help with home.php
-
Hi there. I was hoping if someone could help me with my problem.
I am trying to get my home.php to show like a “featured entry” of my blog and have a separate page show the content to my entire blog. Is this possible? Also, I have no idea how to access my .php files for the Tarski template. Could someone please tell me where to find it? I have been working on this for several hours and I can’t seem to find the answer to my problem. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi. If you are handling PHP files, it means you have a self-hosted WordPress blog and are in the wrong forum. Please ask your question at http://wordpress.org/support
You are currently in a forum for blogs hosted by WordPress.com and our answers will not apply to your situation. Thanks and I hope you find a solution to your problem soon.

P.S. If you do have a blog hosted by WordPress.com, we need the URL, starting with http://

Oh, so sorry! I was totally confused. My blog is hosted by WordPress.com and the link to it is http://digitalremixrevolution.wordpress.com/
Thanks so much for the clarification!

Thank you. As I said earlier, PHP files are a feature of self-hosted WordPress blogs only. At WordPress.com, we cannot handle them. Unfortunately, documents on the Internet about “WordPress” at large don’t always make the distinction between WordPress.com and the self-hosted version (also known as WordPress.org):

Okay, I will try that! Also, I noticed on your site that you were able to make an entry cut so that only part of your entry shows and then there’s a “read more” link for readers to read the rest of the entry. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind explaining how you did that.

It’s done via the “more” tag. See here please:

Okay, thank you very much for your help! I think I’ve got almost all the answers I need! :)
