Frustrated by lack of actual support

I have several questions about my Premium Account and need to chat or talk with someone in Support at WordPress. I am extremely frustrated because I can’t find a phone number or email address. This feels like a run-around. I don’t want to ask the Community – I want to talk to someone who works for WordPress.

This may feel like the run around to you but in fact we Volunteers like myself and raincoaster have been answering questions here for over 7 years. When we started there was a single support forum a singe FAQs thread and a single moderator. None of the Support Staff we have now even worked here and most were hired in the last couple of years. However, the have come along very nicely I’d say, because IMHO support here rocks.

As you noticed this is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here and we Volunteers do not provide support by email. Volunteers answer the majority of all questions posted into forum threads and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.

The response time in the forums is generally under ten minutes, while the email support response time is measured in days. It’s your choice.

I answered all the questions in the other thread. Please check my answers out and supplement if required. The backlog is considerable and those blogger has posted only today into two threads. -
