  After writing my content and trying to revise the title name and tag most of my content was erased and replaced by an earlier autosaved version. Please help. This is my first time and I am confused why an hour of work was lost, when as far as I know the most recent autodraft should overwrite the previous. I’ll be waiting for an answer, as I would be prefer to see if there is way to restore my info.

  Check the Revisions module for previous saved versions. If you’re not seeing the Revisions module while on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.

  And in general avoid using drafts (many users have reported what you’re reporting, the glitch has been going on for months, and WP has nothing to say about it): when you start a new post, write a couple of lines, set the post visibility to private, publish the post, continue editing and updating, turn to public when finished.
