frustrating… i keep getting this damn error messege!
-
im STILL getting this damn error messege, even though i clear up some errors (i have aroune 1000 errors still) and it still gives me that damn messege! help me!!!!
-
the messege goes:
“Goshdarnit!
Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.
We’ve just been notified of the problem.
Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”
im getting really pissed off, i fix most of the errors on my page yet still, this is really messing with my readers.
-
i temporarily fixed it by correcting a few errors, but whenever i leave it goes back to the error messege, this has been going on for 3 days now and i just dont know what to do anymore…

You’ve got a lot of media on your front page. Try limiting the number of blog posts you show.

You already pointed at this problem in these other threads:

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=23131&replies=8I really don’t see the point of opening a new thread a day for the same issue.

Try removing the categories widget from your sidebar. There are nearly 2300 categories listed. A dropdown list that long is essentially unusable, and it adds 140kb to the size of every page view download.

The widget was still there when I checked. I removed it for you and it seems fine now (and loads much faster too).

^^thank you tellyworth you resolved my problem! i was wondering, how many keywords can you have without your site crashing? just wondering, im going to clean alot of this up.
-
There’s no specific number. The problem seems to be not with categories in general but with the categories widget. It uses a lot of memory when there are so many categories. For the sort of use on your blog you might find tags are more appropriate – you don’t have to create them in advance, just add a few when you write each post.
