Frustration……………..
-
Not the one problem I’m afraid, this could take a while to explain, bear with it…
In the edit post screen when I try to add media the pop up takes sometimes 5 minutes to upload the photo and display the options for editing it? There is never the option to drag and drop as the tutorial says? So once I’ve managed to actually get the photo (and it doesn’t matter what size the file is) into the post and I try to position it it usually ends up anywhere other than where I put it and thats if I can move it at all?! So I end up just adding the pics with some text between and it really looks clumsy? Not being able to place the images where we want them is so frustrating and time comsuming when I don’t have the time to spare to spend chasing things around the place? Also the same screen will randomly change format from the small post box on the left to the whole width of the screen, WHY?
The operation is really hampered by the over complicated way the program is trying to run. Why am I paying for this?
Please explain as its driving me nuts!!
Thanks

It seems your images are very large and can be causing the upload process to go slowly, depending on your internet connection. If you don’t have access to an image editor to scale down the images beforehand, then you can use the web-based image editor we provide:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/
Note that you can only edit your photos using this method after you have uploaded them.
Also, if you are interested in image optimization or editing, please read:
Please keep in mind that the drag and drop uploader only works in browsers with HTML5 upload support such as the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Other browsers will still show the Select Files button or the basic browser uploader form.
Once you upload the photo, you can choose from a couple of preset sizes before you insert it into a post: http://cl.ly/0W0x2z303C2H2Q2B2d3f
Once you have a properly sized photo, you may align the photo as you wish under the edit image menu: http://cl.ly/0b3I0c3g1M1x0m2R333c
