Frustration using wordpress 5.4.4

    I operate two websites. The first using WordPress version 5.2.9 which is a breeze. I can get in and get out in five minutes. The second, and installed by someone else, is WordPress 5.4.4 that is a nightmare. How can a non-technical person ie myself change the 5.4.4 version back to version 5.2.9. and should I be handing the work to someone qualified. Many thanks Bernie
