FSE Navigation broken

The ‘Navigation’ item in the FSE themes does not work here. Everywere a Navigation link appears I get the menu items created when I first activated the twenty twenty two theme. The fault appears regardless of which FSE theme I switch to. When trying to add a new Navigation widget I get the message ‘You do not have permission to create Navigation Menus’. The option to modify the Navigation elements is missing in the site FSE editor. There are some subtle content differences with the now locked Navigation entries depending on whether Gutenberg is enabled or disabled in Dashboard.
Is there a link to get updated FSE components? Is there a current fix for this Navigation bug?WP.com: Unknown

https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Before posting there, you might check to see if the same problem happens even with other plugins disabled. If it does, those forums will be your best bet.
