  How can I log into the FTP to add functionality to my website? We are reactivating our wordpress site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is not possible to connect to a WordPress.com site via FTP.

  You can usually access self-hosted (or WordPress.org) sites via FTP.

  To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (self-hosted), take a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  In order to set up FTP on your self-hosted site, you’ll need to check with your website hosting company as they will provide the credentials that you’ll need to access FTP.
