FTP access

  I have been trying to obtain ftp:?? access to my website, but my user name, password and variations on my website address +/- WordPress fails to connect.
  What is the correct syntax to enter into something like FileZilla?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You don’t have FTP-access on the wordpress.com platform unless you upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/support/sftp/

  I want to do some SOE things like edit the current meta-data to update … but the plugin tools like AISEO or Yoast aren’t available to me, so this seemed the alternative path.
