FTP and Control Panel details

  Hi, I am trying to get someone to install a WordPress Theme I purchased however I was asked for the FTP and Control Panel details. Can you please advise where I can get this – I have the free WordPress plan and therefore is hosted by the WordPress domain (www.domainname.wordpress.com)

  Hello there,

  You don’t need and FTP access to activate themes on the free hosted WordPress.com websites, only the themes listed on the page are available. The themes you can download are for self hosted WordPress.ORG blogs. For the differences between the two WordPress, please see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  To activate a theme, just click on the theme and then hit the Activate blue button on the right.
