  I need to find out what my FTP credientials are

  Is this for a site hosted here at WordPress.com or for a site using WordPress that is hosted elsewhere? There are 2 versions of WordPress with very different management options.

  WordPress.com does not allow FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access to any WordPress.com blogs. Please see the information below on alternatives to using FTP for uploading different types of files:

  If you have a WordPress site hosted elsewhere, your webhost is the one most likely to provide you with your FTP path.
