FTP Login issue

    Hello, I am attempting to connect to my wordpress through FileZilla. When I go to connect I get the messages ‘Connecting to 192.0.78.12:21, Connection established waiting for welcome message…Error Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivyty, Error Could not connect to server’ On the Site Manager, I clicked New Site. For host I set it to my domain that I use, firstgenerationers.wordpress.com, Protocol is FTP- File Transfer Protocol, Encryption: Use explicit FTP over TLS if available, Logon Type: Normal, User: what appears as my username in my settings, Password: what I use to log into wordpress (which I did test on the site). On the Transfer Settings tab I have tried both Default and Passive. For the Encrpytion type, I tried adjusting and using every option on the dropdown, I am getting the same error. I have tried using Port 21, and leaving the Port empty. I am not sure what settings to use at this point. Thank you for your help and advice.

    There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

    There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes on blogs hosted by WordPress.COM like yours at http://firstgenerationers.wordpress.com/ and we do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs here at wordpress.COM.
