FTP or Not

  I am a filmmaker and want a client to view the rough edit of a documentary. I want to upload approx 7gb movie file for the client to view. Just want to check the best way to do this. I will upgrade my space and video press first. My intentions are to create a password protected page first then upload the movie from my hard drive. Is this the best method or should I have FTP server software?

  Unfortunately, the maximum file upload limit at WordPress.com is 1 GB, and we can’t provide FTP access. Have you considered using something like http://www.dropbox.com/ or http://letscrate.com/ ?

  Thanks I am new to the FTP server environment and wasn’t sure about who or what. I’ll check out the suggestions.
