FTP Password

  I recently took over the website for our local Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Organization. When i took over the info for the site the only thing i received was the admin login info. When i try to download new plugins to add to the site it asks me for a FTP password, something our club does not have nor was I given. My question is how do i go about getting this information? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

  One last note. When i click edit profile under the admin account, I see under contact info what email it has listed, however when when I try to use that email as a login username on here it doesnt even register as having an account. So, i am beyond confused on how to get this straightened out

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

  Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

  https://wordpress.org/support/

  For FTP access you need to contact your hosting provider directly, as they’re in control of that.
