  have searched and found this:http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-do-i-ftp-upload-to-a-wordpresscom-hosted-blog

  http://en.wordpress.com/features/ does not indicate whether it’s possible or not and the codex http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients doesn’t either.

  Please confirm that a free hosted site e.g. sitename.wordpress.com
  can NOT be FTP’d to, and thus can NOT have new plugins and themes added.

  Here’ are confirmation links:
  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
