Full Code or use WordPress
-
My colleagues and I are arguing what approach shall we do in building a website for our church. I strongly suggested that we use WordPress but some are in favor of using full code because of a traditional belief that full-coded website is more custom-made . Well WordPress is highly customizable but how can I convince them?
Your thoughts please. Thanks

Who will be updating the content? How often will they do this? How technical are they?
I am using self-hosted WordPress.org for http://whocenterpa.com. Full code wouldn’t work well for our team to keep the content moving. Websites are no longer static brochure-ware sites, but ongoing posts happening multiple times per week.
The other question is wordpress.org vs wordpress.com. .org is self-hosted (you get your own webhost) and .com is where we are now.
Hope this helps.
