Full Frame Them Page Overlays and Video Post Overlays
-
Hi,
I have two questions… (I have full customization)
1. On my regular pages I would like to have the text and text box sit floating on the image completely in the bottom half of the image so there is no gray strip between the bottom of the image and the footer and the text isn’t going outside the image… is this possible?
2. On video posts I would like the dark grey overlay that darkens the featured image behind the video completely transparent.
Thanks

It’s probably possible, but I’m not 100% I understand the request. Let’s look at a specific example:
http://zammitadblog.wordpress.com/all-applications-creative/I found this in your current custom CSS:
.single .entry-inner, body.page .entry-inner, body.search .entry-wrap { padding: 30px; margin:-30em auto 2em; position:relative; vertical-align:center; }And I see that it has a negative top margin value or -30em. That is what is working to move it higher up on the page over the top of the background image. The 2em adds extra space below the content. You could adjust the margin in that block to “margin: 0 auto” and it will move the content to below the image and also get rid of extra space below it. I’m not sure that’s the exact change you were looking for, but try it out as a start.

It helps very much to look at a specific example. I found this video page on your site:
http://zammitadblog.wordpress.com/2014/03/12/hero-creative/I think by dark grey overlay behind the video you mean the inner content background. You can turn off that background just for posts set to use the video post format using CSS like this:
.format-video .entry-inner { background: none; } -
