Full page width on blog posts

  • Unknown's avatar

I am using the Elemin theme. My front page is static with right sidebar. I am able to select full page width for all other pages and it appears full page, but cannot achieve full page width on my blog page/posts. I have selected full page width but it still appears with the sidebar.
    Please advise.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is possible to have your posts page be full-width, but the process is a little different than it is on other pages. Instead of setting the page to full width, we are going to hide your widgets–just on that page.

Here’s some general info about widget visibility:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility

In this particular case, we are going to hide each of your widgets on your posts page. To do this, open each of your widgets, click “visibility” and then change the settings so they look like this:

Once that’s done, save each widget. When you are done, all the widgets will be hidden on your posts page and it will appear full width.

Let me know if you have any questions about this or get stuck along the way, I’ll be happy to help.

    Wonderful!

That same process will let you show different widgets on different pages, so if you are feeling fancy, you might want to continue to play with it on other pages :)
