Full-size images need manual resizing

    Since wp 5.3 I read that full-sizes images are no longer possible to use and that a new scaled-down image is created and used as the largest available size. However, my problem is that images have simply disappeared while viewing my website in any browser, but not on mobile. If I change the image size, it reappears, but I must do this manually to each and every image! We are talking about several hundreds of pictures. Is there a quick fix?

    Hi! Just to confirm, is this site hosted here on our services? It sounds like it might not be:

    If it’s not hosted here, and you’re using a copy of WordPress with another host, there are likely different options and configurations to consider. I’d recommend using the DIY forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    If it is hosted with us, generally we’ll take care of upgrades as well as configuration problems, so if it is hosted with us, please send a link to an affected image and we’ll take a look.
