Hey guys for the past week been nothing but a headache for me, here’s what iv been trying to do.
I’m planning on creating a social network on my site and been trying to add a plug in that will give me the features I need.
I need to add a login/register plugin that can be integrated with forums/ members chat and also the option for paid members to be able to post their own content on my home page.
I was checking out s2member but never figured out how to put the login/register buttons on the top of my website like most professional websites. I’ll be adding a woocomerce later to I’m a bit overwhelmed.
Right now I litteraly have no $ to spend on plugins at this time.
Anyone have any suggestions on free plugins that can integrate with all this and purhaps link the paid versions as well. This week has been a non stop headache for me.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Although your request is not really a support query for WordPress.com your site is selfhosted. You may find asking for advice like this from groups of WordPress enthusiasts, like the linkedin “WordPress Experts group”, or facebook WordPress community groups.
But to answer your question. You say you’ve been having particular issues with certain plugins, the common response is to check for conflicts, and de-activate plugins one by one, to find the culprit, and then contact the plugin developer over on the WordPress.org/plugins/ repository for help with the conflict.
For S2Member they have this well documented section https://s2member.com/support/ and particular for your answer searching the knowledge-base for “login”, might help you problem solve the specific issue, https://s2member.com/kb/ i did see that you can use the short code of [s2Member-Login /] to show the login fields on any page or post, there are other areas about using the php directly in your theme but you’d have to ask over there for specific s2member issues.

To clarify, there are two versions of WordPress. This forum is for the free WordPress.com blogging platform. What you have is a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software.
