Full-Width

I see that the Suburbia theme supports full-width templates—how do I activate full-width template on Suburbia Theme
(I see how to do this on a page but I want my home page to be full-width)

    Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

To do this, what you’ll want to do is set up two pages (at least): a Home page and a Blog page (you can call the blog something else if you like, but this is where your blog posts will appear).

Go to your Reading Settings page:
    https://tablewithoutborders.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Select “A static page” and choose your Home page for your Front Page, and your Blog page for your Posts Page

Then, with a defined page for your Home, you can go to edit that page, and under Page Attributes, you can select “Full Width” from the template section.

Otherwise, it will default to the regular view with the sidebar.

Just let me know if you need any additional help with this, or if any step wasn’t clear!

    Cheers!

Thanks Zandyring—It appears to be an issue when using/viewing with Google Chrome (the page only displays 4 columns) whereas Safari, Firefox…displays 5

    too bad!

  • I’m seeing all 5 columns in Chrome at http://michelleswift.com/

Which version of Chrome are you using?
