full width

I cannot see how to make my blog display at full width. I’m using 2010 (like it) but it has HUGE margins either side which I don’t want.
The blog in question is https://elensentier.wordpress.com/
I use 2010 with another blog http://shapeshiftersarms.wordpress.com/ and this one displays at full width.
I’ve looked to see what the difference is between the two sites, using the same theme, but I can’t see. Please tell me what to do to make the elensentier one dispaly at full width.
Thanks

Hey there, Elen,
I took a look at both your sites. They appear to have the same margins. However, one has a background image, and the other has a simple, light-colored background. This may be what makes the sites look different.
Otherwise, they both appear to use the same settings.
Here are your pages as I see them:

https://cloudup.com/cD-B1PNEQl4If you are seeing something different, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.
If you’d like your pages to appear full-width, without a sidebar, you can do so. To do this, open a page in the editor, such as this one:
https://elensentier.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4361&action=edit
In the right-hand column, where you see Page Attributes, you can opt for One Column, No Sidebar. Then save your changes. This can be done for individual pages.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Thanks Robyn, I think it’s about how I set my own screen size. They both do look the same. I need the sidebar so won’t lose that :-).
Thanks again for you help,

Elen,
That makes absolute sense. Glad you sorted it out! Thank you for letting me know :)
